This Super Duty 50 foot 12 gauge Triple Tap Extension Cord is 5/8″ diameter! Mounted on Cord Reel. It is an Electricord Hard Service Cord with a Thermoplastic constructed Jacket that is Weather Approved. Voltage rating: 600 volts.
The Cable jacket is marked: 12/3 STW-A E-25411. STW (Service, Thermoplastic, Weather resistant). STW meets CSA approval for outdoor use. WA = UL, CSA certified for outdoor use. Thermoplastic (plastic) material softens when heated and becomes firm upon cooling. It is not as durable or as flexible as Thermoset material, but is much lighter in weight and offers excellent low temperature resistance. PVC – Polyvinyl Chloride. Compound used in thermoplastic (SJTW-A, STW-A) cords.
